Installation

Danopanel 600

Storage & Installation
Storage and installation should not be carried out in rooms with a relative humidity greater than 70%, unless otherwise stated, see section Moisture . It is equally important to take account of other work such as technical installations before installation of the ceiling is carried out. It is important for the end result that the ceiling tiles are installed at right-angles, this also makes installation quicker & easier. It will also be easier to carry out inspections to installations above the ceiling as removal of the tiles will be easier. It is not recommended that ceilings are installed at a temperature consistantly over 50°C.
Layout
Generally start setting out from the centre of the room. The Danopanels are installed on a furring of either wood or metal. The furring is spaced at 300 mm c/c.
Installation
Begin the installation of first row from the centre of the room using a chalk line. The Danopanels are screw fixed trough the holes in the factory mounted clips. On the next rows of tiles the clips can slide in behind the adjacent panels thus only screw fixing the clips on the other side etc.
Adjustment
Cuttings and adjustments of the panels can be carried out by a fine tooth saw or a Stanley knife. If a the last row is a full size panel, the clips should be cut . If the panels have to be cut to a smaller width the clips shall be removed and re-fixed at the cut panel.
Frieze
The last row of tiles can also be screw fixed directly through the Danopanel. The position of the screws shall be max. 30 mm from the clips behind the panel.
Vapour barrier
If a vapour barrier is used, it is to be placed behind the furring.
